Burke is a motivational speaker whose book about dealing with grief is a best seller. His wife died in a car accident three years ago. He's in Seattle to lead a week-long workshop on healing and to negotiate a major multi-media deal. But something's amiss: he's a closet drinker, he won't ride elevators, his moods swing, he's estranged from his wife's father, and he's very much alone. In a hotel hallway, he bumps into a woman arranging flowers, tries to chat with her, and gets the brush-off. She's Eloise, a local florist who's just broken up with a boyfriend. why, oh, why did they throw their money on something this stupid (and stupid is an understatement for this)?!
I won't be long. This is by far one of the worst movies i've seen in a long long time, and I do get to end up with some crappy movies, but this. This was a torture all the way till the end which you can so easily predict in the first 5 minutes of the movie. No chemistry between two lead actors whatsoever, but even if it was, I think we are all sick and tired of Aniston playing the same role for the millionth time. Story is so dull, pathetic as a result of trying too hard to be touching, predictable. I just wasn't buying absolutely anything, I was just irritated. So don't watch this movie, you may as well slap yourself a few times, the effect will be the same, only less time will be spent.
